In commemoration of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, UID Bali Campus held a cultural workshop entitled UID Workshop: Further Preserving Cultural Diversity Through Creativity. This event is a collaboration with the Yayasan Puri Kauhan Ubud which aims to learn and preserve traditional Balinese cultures which is currently becoming extinct. Yayasan Puri Kauhan Ubud is known for its efforts in preserving traditional Balinese cultures, especially literature through various programs and events.

In this activity, you will be invited to try your hand at writing lontar with Made Oka Suryawan, S.S., a lontar writing facilitator. There will also a mini talk show that will discuss the history of writing lontar, and what efforts are made by Puri Kauhan Ubud to preserve the culture of writing lontar, and other local cultures, so that they are not extinct, inviting Dr. A. A. Gde Ngurah Ari Dwipayana, M.Si. and Tantowi Yahya.
